Internet Tip
What is the Internet?
The Internet is a worldwide network of interconnected computers communicating via telephone lines, cable, and satellite. Personal computers, cell phones, or other devices that are used to view web sites are also a part of the Internet. The World Wide Web (WWW) is the visual part of the Internet, that is, the web pages viewed by users.
A web site on the World Wide Web is a collection of related web pages with a main page called the home page. The home page normally describes the purpose of the site. A web page is a basic unit or document on the Web having it's own unique web address.
