Photo Scanning
Each photo is professionally scanned and examined for quality. Since color and light vary from photo to photo, each photo is examined individually before performing adjustments. Basic digital retouching is performed as needed which includes; rotating, cropping, color correction, brightness/contrast adjustment, and dust/scratch removal. After adjustments are done on all your photos, they are copied to CD or DVD.
Print photos are scanned at 300dpi (optionally 600dpi) and saved in least compression JPEG file format or optionally in TIFF file format. 35MM slides and negatives are scanned at 1600dpi (optionally 3200dpi) and saved in JPEG or TIFF file format. Special arrangements can be made for limited scanning in your home for those very old and valuable family photo treasures.
Scanning photos, slides, or negatives is extremely time consuming. It requires patience but it is not especially difficult providing that you have the proper equipment. Basic digital retouching, however, requires skill and experience to produce good results. Basic retouching is included in the scanning price.

DVD Photo Slide Show
DVD slide shows are created using your scanned photos or existing digital photos to produce a TV slide show complete with image transitions and music. Multiple slide shows can exist on one DVD and are selected via a menu. Title frames can be added to introduce chapters in the slide show. DVD slide shows are positively enjoyed at special occasions, such as; family reunions, weddings, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, and any other special event. Watching your slide show helps you to relive the event complete with laughter, tears, and all the emotions.

Photo Retouching and Restoration
Photos are sentimental and treasured moments in life. Some of these are very special and when one gets damaged through aging or accident, you will want to get it restored. The restoration process does not alter the original photo. The original is scanned at a high resolution and the work of restoration is performed on the digital image. During the restoration process, the image can be enhanced by removing unsightly objects, like telephone wires or you may wish to blur the background. When the work is complete, you will have a digital image that can easily be shared and preserved for future generations.
