Building a Digital Photo Album Without a Digital Camera.


Some folks may have invested a lot in their film camera equipment or they may not be ready for a digital camera at this time. This is no reason not to begin building your digital photo albums. Here is what you can do.
  • You can request a CD when you have your film developed. The CD will contain a JPEG file for each photo developed. JPEG is a file format for photos.


  • There are online services, such as Snapfish, that process film using their free film mailers. After processing, they place your photos into an online album that you access with username and password. From here, you can order prints selectively, also download your digital images into your computer.


  • Another way is to selectively scan in the printed photos that you want. Scanners are not very expensive and you would want to have one for scanning in the old family photos.
